Issuing Seller Credit Via Your Yotpo Loyalty Program

Overview

We are excited to offer a Yotpo integration that enables you to seamlessly leverage your existing loyalty program by offering peer sellers a way to earn loyalty points for selling items on your resale site.

Step 1: Basic Info

To get started, please share the following with your dedicated Customer Success Manager:

1. Yotpo API Key and Yotpo GUID, which you can access by following these steps.
2. Link to your brand rewards page (found on your main site) with details on how your program is structured.
3. Conversion of # of points = $1 (i.e. 10 points = $1)

Step 2: Set Up Custom Campaign

To enable the integration, please set up a custom campaign in your existing Yotpo dashboard:

1. Navigate to the left hand column of your dashboard and click ‘Rewards Program’, or enter ‘Rewards Program’ in the search function.
2. Click ‘+ Create Earning Rule’.
3. Click ‘Custom Action’.
4. Add Action Name: treet-order-credit-payout:

   

5. Select ‘Points’ under the "What kind of reward" question in the campaign setup.
6. From there, Treet will complete the integration and we will work with your team to test the end to end process.  

Customer Experience Overview

1. When listing an item for sale, customers will be quoted the estimated amount of points they will earn when the item sells, based on Selling Price:

   

2. Once the item is sold, they can then select between Loyalty Points or Cash payout:

3. Points will be automatically deposited into their points pool, and they will also receive an email from Treet confirming the deposit.

FAQS

1. Can I issue points for other actions taken on the site, such as listing an item or adding to cart?

We currently support issuing points as payment for items sold, but we're always looking to expand our integration capabilities. Please let your Customer Success Manager know if there are other actions you would like to map loyalty points to.

2. How can I check if customers are receiving points correctly? 

You can view all customers + their points earned in your Yotpo Customer dashboard:

3. Can I add custom rules to the points that are issued for seller payouts? 

The points will be deposited into your customers' main points repository and will be subject to the same rules applied to your broader loyalty program (i.e. max points redeemed on a given purchase).
